Public and Patient Involvement
The HRB Primary Care Clinical Trials Network have been proud to include public and patient involvement in our work from our early days.
Involving the public and patients in research is crucial to ensuring high quality work, avoidance of research waste, and increased relevance of studies and their outcomes. Our Primary Care PPI group are embedded within the core of the network, and are involved in reviewing studies requesting support, directly supporting our collaborating researchers, and helping us plan for the best usage of all our resources.
